Our Writers

James Dozer, Travel Writer.

Born and raised in Oregon, I moved down to Southern California for college, fell in love with the weather (and beautiful people) and never looked back.  After graduating from the University of California, Irvine in 2001, I went on his first "big" trip across the pond.  We flew to Ireland onbaord an Aer Lingus A330 when it happened. . . I was bit by the travel bug and as they say, the rest is history.

Based in Los Angeles, I have been traveling extensively ever since, visited over 20 countries, five of the seven continents, flown on dozens of carriers in economy, business and first class and have stayed at many accommodations from hostels to five star resorts.  On a budget or all expenses paid, I have enjoyed all my trips the same, and hope to share my stories with you.

My goal for this forum is to help you take fantastic trips, have incredible memories and share amazing vacation stories that your family and friends will actually want to hear.

My other interests include fitness (especially during travel) and all things geeking out.  What can I say? I'm just a dork that found the gym (all around the world).
